Weeknote, August 22: Purely about music links
What a time for music releases.
I can't believe Dominic Fike, Chance the Rapper, and Daniel Caesar all dropped music on the same day (? or week?).
Some of my favourite songs from last week's releases:

Something about me is that I listen to new releases as audio tracks, and not as music videos. Because I think music videos are so well-made these days that they influence how I appreciate a song.
An example of this is the first time I saw Dominic Fike play guitar in a video. I can't unsee it now, and I think it really shaped my initial impression (and extreme liking).
